Title: Local PRI Question

Something I wanted to get clarification on.

I have multiple sites using DID's off the local PRI that resides at site A. When multiple people from the outside call those DID's and those phones sit at site B, C and D those lines on the PRI are being used correct even though the phone with the DID is registered at site B, C or D? Or if site A picked up the call because it has the PRI then made a voip call over to site B which then site A releases the PRI line freeing up that line for another caller?

The PRI trunk will remain in use no matter where it is answered or transferred to.
