Title: Bandwidth usage on UCA Sip phone client
Post by: Philshep on July 09, 2014, 06:21:42 AM
Hi All,
Does anyone know what the typical Bandwidth usage is for a UCA SIP phone client on an Android or IOS device. HD Video may be used internally?
Our company will be introducing the scenario with approx. 150+ mobile users connecting via their wireless LAN infrastructure.

You need the UC advnaced Enginerring Guidelines PDF

Get it from edocs.mitel.com

Snippet
UC Advanced Client Bandwidth Usage
This section covers the bandwidth usage for the desktop and mobile clients. The usage depends on the number of calls placed or received by the client, the number of status changes invoked by the client, and number of users for whom client is receiving real time status updates.

Thanks for the info.
I have seen the document but you need to add different figures depending on the current state. I was looking for a general figure from experience.
