Title: Outgoing Key does not allow user to dial outside call
Post by: mkrneta on July 07, 2014, 03:23:38 PM
I have several users all using the same keymap.  Only only user is stating that when they press the Outgoing button on their phone, and they dial a number, the phone just provides a dial tone after they have dialed the 10 digit phone number.  I have had the user default their handset. The keyset is correctly added to the correct CO Trunk.  Any ideas ?

Check associated extensions on that particular phone, make sure the outgoing extn is correct.

Outgoing is set to Feature Code 9200 Automatic Route Selection just like all the other phones.

Can they dial out if they manually dial 92000xxxxxxxxxxx

Or the Trunk Group ID, normally 92001xxxxxxxxxxx

Or even 8xxxxxxxxxxx assuming all feature codes are at default.

What does the display show when this occurs?

Mkrneta,

Have you looked at the Calling Party Number on that phone and verified it is either empty or a number you actually have; this is assuming you have a PRI of course.

Thanks,
