Title: Voice Mail problem
Post by: bpone on July 03, 2014, 04:53:28 AM
Hi All
on an MXe controller running MCD 6 SP3 i am trying to set the voice mail.
The system has 4 vm ports which i gave numbers 600-603. I created a COS for the VM and a hunt group (cuclical) nymber 100.
When i try to add the VM ports 600-603 to the group, it does not let me replying that the extensions has some features not defined as voice mail.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

did you set the VM hunt group type  as VM in the hunt group or have you left them it voice? It has to be set as VM so you can add the ports in IIRC.

Yes i had set it up ok as voice mail type and not voice.
The message from the system is  one of COS types assigned for the extension is not set for VM!
Very strange.
