We have a Superconsole 1000 and would like to be able to answer and transfer incoming calls via a cordless handset, thus allowing the attendant to step away from the desk and still answer calls.
Is this possible? If so, what would be required for equipment and setup?

This can be done using an analog DECT phone.
What you need to do is program an analog line on your system and connect it close to the console. It will need it's own extension.
Then you need to program all the lines that normally ring on your console to ring to that analog line in Night 2 mode.
You cannot ring both the console and the phone at the same time.
When your operator wants to walk away from the console, he/she would put the system into night 2 mode to make all the calls ring to the phone.
When the operator returns to the console they would return the system to day mode to make the console ring again.
Bear in mind that your system may already be using Night 2 mode for something. Your tech may have to check the system to see what it is and then you will have to make a decision if you can use Night 2 mode without causing other issue.
