Title: Hunt Group Extension List - one member does not receive calls
Post by: jpitor on June 11, 2014, 11:36:19 AM
I have a single hunt group set up for our main incoming traffic, and the only member of that group is a Hunt Group Extension List, containing various endpoints.  This is to allow that "ring all phones at once" behavior.  The problem is that one of the members in that list doesn't receive any calls.

Here is the breakdown of the list:

- 5 local digital endpoints
- 1 offnode IP phone endpoint 5330
- 1 offnode IP softphone 8602

The member not getting calls is that offnode softphone.  I can't figure out why it's not ringing - it's on the same remote node as the 5330, and the 5330 gets calls just fine.

Well this is embarrassing - may have just realized the problem.  Compared the endpoint flags between those 2 devices - the softphone "Huntgroup" flag was set to Remove instead of Replace.

Jpitor,

Make sure that phone has not removed itself from the Hunt Group.

System > Devices and Feature Codes > Phones > (softphone extension) > Flags > Hunt Group Remove/Replace.

Thanks,
