Title: Voicemail Timestamp Issue
Post by: supam on October 14, 2009, 06:11:22 AM
Hi

I'm having an issue where 'voicemail to email' emails are timstamped incorrectly (14 hours in the future).  The time on my 3300cxi is fine (both phones and management GUI display correct time and date) and I checked what I believe to be the obvious candidates and have not come across anything that seems suspicious.

I saw on a previous, similar post a suggestion that said I should look at the timezone setting on the "Networked VM Servers" but this is embedded voicemail, so there is no such option.

Below is the text from one such email (containing a voicemail) from 2:14 PM on Wednesday the 14th of October:

Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer.

There is a form called Networked VM Servers.

There is a TZ setting in that.

Thanks.  Yes, have seen that form but there are no entries for me to modify.  Do I need to add something???

Am I missing something?  Wouldn't be the first time :-)

Thought I'd try adding an entry and modifying the TZ setting accordingly and it worked!  I imagine this is something that should have been set up by the installer but was missed.....

I am actually surprised the forward to email worked without that setting.
