Title: Password Reset

I am trying to get into a 3300AX and I don't have a serial port or the login info. Is it possible to reset the system password without serial? It looks to be running MCD 4ish or so based on the login screen. Nobody here has any information on it nor who the VAR is who installed it.

About the only way I can think of is to get Mitel involved with the associated costs.

Are you a VAR as well?
If so Mitel may tell you who manages the AMC account by giving them the HWID.

I was a VAR, now I'm just a dude with knowledge. A company sold the hardware and then used a subcontractor to install and now nobody knows anything and people are pointing at each other. It's a shame really. I just want to help these people out.

I would have gone with a serial to ethernet adapter if I were kitting up now. I suspect they will be more stable than USB to serial although the Keyspan unit I have has been rock solid.

Has this been resolved? I have a CXi running load 10.1.0.69_1 (MCD 4.1 Sp2) on Vx Works 5.5.2 and no idea what the system/password are.
