Title: Voicemail Question
Post by: dan231 on May 08, 2014, 09:34:10 AM
Whenever a person calls an extension and the vm picks up but they do not leave a message (they hang up before that part), the vm system flags it as a new vm.
I find this very annoying.  Can this be altered or turned off so only true messages show as a message?

Thanks

Change the:

Deliver Hangup Messages (When CLI is available) to NO

You will need to do this for every mailbox.

Fix one mailbox, copy/paste to the others.  The ability to send hangup messages is designed for people who might want to know who they missed, such as a salesman.

I finally got access to the whole system.  Where do I find this setting?  I looked and can't find it.

Voice Processor / Devices / Mailboxes, pick a mailbox and check the setting mentioned.
