Title: Inserting Digits Automatically for a Dialed Number
Post by: LeoAbse on May 07, 2014, 11:09:25 AM
MCD 6 - Mitel 3300 - 5312 IP Sets

What form do I use to automatically insert digits when a certain number is dialed from any of our extensions ?

For example.
When someone dials 920xxxxxx (9 for outside line) the mitel 3300 inserts 029 in front (the 9 for an outside line is already being stripped /absorbed) so that 02920XXXXXX gets sent to to telephone exchange down our ISDN line.

Thanks

Look at the ARS flow for the number you are dialing. The form that will so this is the Digit Modification form. Be careful as this could be referenced in other routes that you may not want to change.
