I recently installed a 3300 at a resort with mostly analog phones including the internal help desk phones. On the old system they had an audible message waiting indicator for the help desk I think the voicemail would call the phone and let it ring once then disconnect. My google fu is failing me I can find visual indicators and have set up the SMTP forward on the NuPoint but the help desk manager is still looking for an audible solution.
Any ideas?

Isn't there some options for MWI ringing timers in the COS?
I think I can remember seeing those options but have never played with them.

Are you referring to the "stutter" tone on an analog set that lets you know you have a message? If so, that is a COS option.

I thought the 3300 would send a ring to along with lighting the message waiting lamp? Set in the mailbox under notification and also a bit to set in VM options. Set the extension number in VM box for user.

I've attached a screenshot from the help files of what I think the settings are in the COS.
You'll have to try it out. If I remember correctly I used this once a very very long time ago on a 2k.

Not stutter dial tone the customer wants the phone to ring when there is a message.

I will take a look at that

I saw those in COS but did not try them. I will take a look at that and see.
I found a viking electronics device that will trip a relay when there is a message waiting lamp lit I might be able to do something with that.
