Is there a way for the full first name to display on the phone? When I put someone's name in the user and device form it just shows the first initital of the first name then the full last name.

You can use just the Last name spot, Also I believe you can edit the Display Name to whatever you wish, that is a bit more work then. But the lcd display is still limited. I believe 13 to 15 characters depending on model.

Thanks but even short first names don't appear only the first letter followed by a . then last name.

You could put in the full name as the first name and leave the last name blank.
Not a great solution but workable.

I believe if you are on the same node as your primary it will display first name and last name.
If you are calling across the IP Network then it will display First Initial.Last Name

I just program the whole name in the last name field so that it looks correct across a network.

I have asked Mitel about this and this is just the way it is apparently.
