Title: Call forward to mobile after 3 rings and back to EXT if no pick up by mobile
Post by: Lanham10001 on March 14, 2014, 10:36:17 AM
we want to setup call routing that if a call comes to extention, goes to Mobile after 3 rings and then if mobile does not picked up comes back to the extention and able to leave VM by caller. But don't want to use the call forward key on phone.

thanks,

1) create a system speed dial that points to the cell.  Be sure to tick override toll security.
2) Create a new call rerouting 1st alt number that points to the system speed call on RNA.
3) assign new 1st alt number to the extension being called.
4) Be sure the 2nd alt points to the VM

There are some timing issues that will come into play so you'll have to test.

Do you have multi device user licences or External hot desk licences?

Configuring a personal ring group, with the desk phone an EHDU in it, and setting your timers correctly is what the Mitel is designed for.
