Title: Identifying MXe MXe II
Post by: jrg0852 on March 06, 2014, 12:33:11 PM
Hi. Is there a way in the system to tell the difference between an MXe and an MXe II? Cicking on "About" gives you MXe no matter what, unless it is an MXe III, which is different. Thanks.

Thanks, Ace. Tried this. It gives you the same info as clicking "About" in ESM. If it's an MXe or MXe II it states MXe. Only difference is if it's an MXe III it gives you this.  :(

The difference is in the DSP module mounted on the midplane (slot 7 in System Hardware Modules). MXe is a 21262, MXe-II is a 21363.
