Title: Mitel SRC Licences Query
Post by: LeoAbse on February 19, 2014, 07:14:30 AM
Hi
I know that licences are sold in quantities of 1, 10 and 50. Does anyone know though if the Mitel SRC comes shipped with any licences at all included / built in ?
We are UK based if that makes a difference...
Thanks

You buy the Mitel Border Gateway Base pack which is the app.
Then you would add SRC, or SIP Trunking, or Teleworker licenses on top depending on what you are using it for.
I don't think you get any licenses with the base pack.

Thanks.

Ahhh, I see... Thank you...
The plan is for SRC licences as we will be using it to record calls made on extensions.
I queried the included lcences as I read it on some site but couldn't date the site so assume it was out of date then - as in before MBG,  5 licences were included may be.

MBG base pack does not come with any licenses

you would need to apply licenses for the services required ie sip, teleworker or SRC taps

Each phone to be recorded would need a license in the MBG supporting the SRC blade. The SRC software is free but the licenses to record a set are not.

Well, that's only true if everyone is on a call at once, since you're paying per tap, not per set. If you expect to be tapping 50 calls at once, make sure you have 50 licenses, etc.
