Hey yall
Embedded 3300 voicemail
Trying to do a easy 1,2,3 setup for temporary inclement weather closings..
Thanks you for calling blah, blah, blah, press 1 for nurse... press 2 for scheduling issues..
Trying to get 1 to go to cellphone
Trying to get 2 to go to cellphone
Looked at multi level aa .. only lets me do extension numbers/mailbox numbers.. no speed call numbers.. Have not tried using extension number in multi level aa and using that ex as a forward always to a speed call, then speedcall to a cell.. Only have 1 analog open to use as a dummy and really would like to beable to do this without having to create forwarding extensions to speedcalls for each one..
I tried setting up personal contacts but only lets me do one for some reason and cant figure out to change that system auto message to contact this user on his cell to go away..
must be tired or something i dunnoo
Any help would be much obliged.

also anyway to add more on to this.. without physically having a card ?

The system message can only be deleted in the TUI by admin access. Dial into 9999 or whatever your admin log in is and I think its option 4 (Ralph pointed this out to me in the first place). The other way is to scrub the voicemail box and recreate but don't enter any cell numbers when asked. Either way the message to call a cell goes away if no number is there.

Also possible to set up dummy extensions and call forward them to individual cell numbers always in call rerouting (may have to go to a speedcall first) so you don't need actual extensions analog or otherwise. Its about the only way I can think of but there are cleverer people on hers tahn me.

i hers taht man :D
You know being in alabama we only get this bad weather once a year if that.. lol
but yea multi AA wont let me do anything until i create a dummy extension somewhere and the only place i can do that i thought was in the analog forms..
thanks for the input

Nah, you can create dummy IP extensions. I think you can put each extension under a key and reroute them always. I think it should work.
Thinking further I guess you could always do it with a phantom hunt group and re rote that since you only require a few?(no need to add and extension just re route the hunt group).

And you only get 4 ONS ports on the embedded. An ASU with a 4x12 card would be needed to go more, which will give you 4 more ONS.

For phantoms, if you have a lot (more than 4 or so) and no spare IP licenses, just create a phantom peripheral bay on say unit 13, card it with an ONS card and adjust the alarm thresholds to not indicate an alarm, you can literally build hundreds of phantoms that way if needed then just program forwarding on the stations.

Easy: (assuming 4 digit numbers)
Create speed call ie 1725 with destination 9+cell number,
Create mailbox 1 in main menu with extension 1725, type transfer only.
During the main greeting dial 1, and you'll be transferred to the cell.
If you are using a menu mailbox and not the AA, you can use multi digit mailboxes.

Thanks for that info, Ace. So with those phantoms, no physical connection to a fax, say, or Polycom needed? I never did any of those. Appreciate any insight.

Not only is no physical connection needed, there is no hardware needed. The entire bay will be a phantom.
