Title: SX2000 cmds
Post by: Mark_Hutch on February 11, 2014, 05:35:47 PM
Hi guys

I used to work on these switches over 10 years ago and was not bad at finding my way around the system. However over time I seem to have forgotten more than i remember :(
I have a technicians manual but unfortunately cannot locate my old course material from Sys admin 1 & 2 and ARS.
Question is where is a good source for more advanced commands and fault finding techniques?

Cheers

Mark

That's a big order.

The commands I use a lot are:
alarms
show fault alarm
stat <plid>
logs re ma new XXX
logs re smdr new XXXX match <something>

But for more try this command: help

Hey Ralph

Thanks but already familiar with those ;)
Thankfully after hours of searching have managed to find old course manuals from admin 1 & 2 and ARS courses I attend back in the dark ages ;D
Funny how it all comes flooding back

Cheers
