Title: Place 15 phones in DND at 5:30 M-F
Post by: blaatz on February 06, 2014, 04:31:24 PM
I was wondering if there is any way to systematically place 15 phones in DND at 5:30pm every weeknight?  Apparently it is too much to remember to manually put them in DND :-)

What's the goal?  Rerouting outside calls to VM?  Are the 15 all of the phones in the bldg or just select users?  Is this something that can be accomplished by a STAR app?  Or 15 STAR apps?  Or Night Mode? Give us some details about how calls get to the users and what the desired result would be.

Dwayneg,

We use a receptionist and the Attendant Console to route calls.  This is basically to ensure that all the phone are on DND in the morning before anyone gets there so as the employee roll in the attendant knows who is available.  Apparently people are forgetting to put their phones in DND when they leave and then the receptionist is transferring calls to someone who is no there in the morning.

I dont know what a STAR app is, sorry.

Thanks!

If you have CSM with Intellilgent router, it can be programmed to set your sets in DND based on a schedule

Sounds like a personnel problem, not a phone problem! Seriously, the suggestion from Justaphoneguy to use CSM would work.  You could also have the att put them in DND as they leave, very easy with att console software but doable from an ordinary phone as well.
