Title: Admin Group Alarm Summary
Post by: matthew on February 06, 2014, 01:24:19 AM
I have a two node resilient cluster. Both are MCD 6.0 SP1. On the primary node, in the Admin Group Alarm Summary, it shows both nodes as having major alarms. When I click the individual nodes, the primary node has no alarms, and the secondary has a minor alarm (BRI card that is active with no lines connected). On the secondary node, its shows things correctly - primary node Clear, secondary node Minor. How do I get the primary node to clear the major alarm indication?

Make sure the SNMP traps are configured properly.

Thanks. That didn't actually sort it out for me, but I did learn some new stuff by reading about it. It was possible in my case as I do graph some things in cacti and have SNMP enabled, so it was possible I had messed something up. What ended up straightening things out was simply disabling then re-enabling Admin Group Management on the primary node.
