Hi,
Quick question - are you able to forward all calls to a Mailbox from the 5550 console? Night 1 and Night 2 positions have already been taken up and the receptionists wants another temporary position where she can divert all calls to a mailbox which will say "no one is available to take your call at the moment, leave a message" Cant see any option on the console software. Any advice is much appreciated.

You can't really forward the console. What are night 1 and 2 used for i.e where do they go?

Hi,
Night 1 is used for their normal after hours night switch while night 2 is used to re-route calls to a cordless handset used by the receptionist while she's not at her desk. I was hoping I could program a key to forward calls directly to a mailbox from the console. Is it possible to do this from another extension with the right COS? Apart from the console, the receptionist has another extension on her desk.

Put the system in N2 then via the FAC forward the wireless handset to VM.
The call will then be placed in the mailbox of the that the line the call is pointed to.
