Title: Connect to key system via opx
Post by: SUSD on February 04, 2014, 01:31:05 PM
3300 MXe 2-Clustered Rel 4.2 / 10.2.0.26_2  6-SX200 10-ASUs

This is new to me, any help is appreciated.  I'm working with what has been set up in the past. Would like to go the IP route in the future. But, we have a Drs office next to the hospital, using opx to their key system.

I have a phantom DID ext 6500, also shows on Multiline appearance group

Call ReRoute points 6500 to Hunt Group 7100, which has members 7103 & 7104, the lines on their key system.

How does a call to DID 6500 get to the opx's we have connected to the Drs office ?

Where's my link from the 3300 to the opx's ?

Thanks very much.

The OPX's are analog extensions, go into maintenance commands and type:

locate extension 7103 (and 7104)

and you should get the PLID of the devices. If they are true OPX circuits, they will likely connect from an ASU (or other analog card depending on system config) to the telco's demarc, from there they carry them to the Dr's office and they will connect to the key system like regular lines
