Title: Mitel 3300 and Call Waiting Function
Post by: emmalj on February 03, 2014, 08:26:17 AM
Good Afternoon Everyone

I have a query if someone could help me out please. We have not long had the Mitel 3300 system installed and one issue that we have come across so far is that when someone is on the phone and another person try's to call them, it doesn't transfer to someone else it just says call waiting on there phone screen until they hang up and answer, and at times people are missing phone calls, any ideas?

Please let me know if I haven't made sense

Thanks
Emma

You need to forward the phone to wherever you need it to go if it's busy.
You can do that via system programming or by pressing the blue menu button --> Call Forwarding on the phone.

or clear the timer in the COS

Auto Campon Timer

Enter the length of time while listening to busy tone before system performs an auto camp-on to the busy line. Values range from 0 to 30 seconds. A blank field turns the timer off and provides busy tone to a caller when calling a busy extension.

I had forgotten that.
If you never want a call to camp on, blank the auto campon in the COS of the phone.
