Hi, I am quoting a Mitel 5000 for a small Hotel and they want to know whether we can get the Mitel to notify SLT/PoTS Analogue extensions with a lamp. Also can you get a "wake up Call" facility on the Mitel 5000 to set a call at a certain time.
Your input would be greatly appreciated.

The 5000 is not intended for Hotel/Motel applications at all and does not have the necessary capabilities, one of the few applications I would NOT recommend this system for.
You may want to consider the SX-200 or a small MCD system. The SX200 is clearly the best choice for this application, especially in smaller sites.

Bez1982,
The original manufacturer Inter-Tel had a server that integrated with the Axxess system to offer those features in a hotel/motel site.
Now there is a SIP device you can use to light analog phones as it is no longer a feature built into or added onto their single line cards.
So in the end it would probably be more expensive than a 3300.
