Title: SIP client on MCD can't dial out
Post by: JasonTaylor on December 24, 2013, 04:20:48 AM
Hello guys and girls. I wonder if someone can help me with an issue I've come across on our in house MCD on v6 (12.0.0.49). I have been testing a Mitel 5624 wifi handset and it is registered on the system and I have given it a COR group number which allows it to dial out on just about anything (same number as my office ext) however it won't dial out. It must be a setting in the system as I have also connected a SIP client on my iPhone as a different extension and I get the same problem? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

can you ring in to it? is this through your normal trunks? can you dial internally?

Have you given it a SIP COS?

Double check you have "PSTN access via DPNSS" enabled in your class of service.
