Title: Mitel StreamLine (Phybridge PoLRE)
Post by: acejavelin on December 03, 2013, 11:06:39 AM
Anybody using this? Thoughts, concerns, issues, recommendations?

We put in an 8-port unit with two Polycom SIP phones for testing and it is working beautifully, thinking about some larger installations... just looking for some feedback on anyone using this product.

I haven't used the 8 port yet but have dozens of deployments using the 24 and 48 port units.  They work as advertised and have been a god send in some situations.

I recommend having the client stock a few extra dongles onsite just in case.  We had a few die on us but they were all the old style.

I had intermittent port drop/connection issues on 24 and 48 port units at several different sites, but the latest patch resolved them all. All sites are now trouble free, with segregated VoIP running on existing CAT3 cabling.

Cool.. thanks guys.

Interesting though, I find the pricing for the actual PhyBridge branded product through EarthBend to be lower than the StreamLine branded version... might just go that route and give it a shot.
