Mitel 3300 - MCD 4
Hi
We have two ISDNS serving our firm. They run in 'parallel' providing us with 60 channels and we have a DDI range assigned to all our extensions. At the moment if we call out the person receiving the call, regardless of what ddi extension was used to call out from will always get our main ISDN number displayed on their phone. How do we set it so that the actual ext ddi number is displayed / presented instead ?
Thanks

depending on software level
Associated directory numbers and use cpn substitution
Or CPN substitution groups and DID ranges for CPN (CPN is Calling Party Number)
The first one is the simpler whilst the second one is more flexible and does groups almost quicker when you get used to it.

That should be Calling rather than called of course

Thanks
I looked in to this way (Associated directory numbers and use cpn substitution) and it seems straight forward though could take some time program.
I can't seem to work out this way though (CPN substitution groups and DID ranges for CPN). In the top part of the CPN Sub form I have our 2 ISDN's listed. According to the help file I should then have an index field for both of them which once populated you can then move down to the bottom part of the form and assign ranges. There is no index field though ?

Under CPN Substitution do you have the main number under Default Voice CPN?

Check to see if the window for the lower index part has not been dragged right down to the bottom. If it has you will see a thin blue bar at the bottom of the screen.

You may have to do the DID ranges programming first...its slipped my mind which is why I generally use the associated number but I now see its not supported on BRI trunks (and TBH I have only done this on PRI trunks but I'm getting old so I may be wrong.) and I just checked a BRI only site and I use the DN (associated number) method on that and I know it works even if its not supported.
So try filling in the cpn ranges first and see if this gives an index the index page.
I told you it was odd until you get the hang of it.
