Hi,
firstly i have little if any experience on the mitel phone platform so apologies if my question seems trivial.
I have department serveral users that are currently complaining that when customers call and they are either on the phone or away from desk or in dnd.
the caller recieves a out of service recorded message.
was wondering how i can set up call the phone system to route the caller back into the hunt group number 529
example extenstions
111
222
333
444
555
666
*777
*777 = manager extention. ( would ideally like calls to fall through to him/her if no one picks or is busy /dnd.
any help guidance appreciated.

You will need to program a call reroute first alternative to go to either the HG or that manager, then assign that to the users in the call rerouting assignment form.

Would assume that since callers get the "out of service" message when users are away from their desks ( as well as when busy or in DND ) that you have some call rerouting in place. The call reouting is however sending the calls to a destination which is out of service and this means the MCD returns "reorder to the central office which in turn plays the recorded message to the caller.
You need to find out what the rerouting is and redirect it to a destination that is in service.

Thanks for the swift response folks.
Mattyman,
I am looking at the option you suggested.
so given the extension 111
how do i using the 1st alternative form page on the mitel mcd to ensure that if 111 is busy away on dnd the call with route to hunt group 529
i see no reference on the form page that correlates to any extension.
i have added an attachment of the relevant form.
thanks

You program conditions in that form and reference the index number in the Call Reroute Assignment form. Each extension will have Call RR Always Day/Night1/Night2, 1st alt and 2nd alt.
