I installed a new system (ver 6.0 SP1) and configured VM, but I'm unable to add VM boxes. When I dial the VM hunt group
pilot number the voice mail resonses correctly "Please enter your mailbox number....".
When I try to add a new VM box on VM Mailboxes a get this error message:
"The entered value is out of range."
In the log I can see following:
Log Type Software
Log Number 777
Severity Warning
Date 2013/Oct/22
Time 10:37:25
Source CAVH_VOICE_MAILBOX
Description insertTuple()->Error inserting Voice Mailbox simple tuple The entered value is out of range.
Module Main
File Name and Line Number CAVH_Voice_Mailbox.cpp;1901
In Users and Devices Configuration on Voice Mail tab the Voice Mail checkbox is grayed out and cannot be enabled.
Any ideas?

How many digits are your extension numbers? If you have anything other than 4 you need to log into the admin mailbox and initialize the VM system and change the mailbox length to match your extensions.
Also, did you reboot after setting up the VM?

Simple question first.......you have VM licenses, right?
-
Sure I have the enough Embedded Voice Mail licenses and also restarted the PBX.
The problem was that I was using 3 digits extensions (thanks to Mattmayn) and I did not realized there are 4 digits extensions set by defaut. So I logged into the Administrator's mailbox and chnaged the lenght to 3 (selected option 1 to begin a new installation and then selected option 3 to select new length)
Mattmayn, Thank you again.
