Title: VM notification on 1 handset

Hi All,
I have a extn that is constantly getting a MWi light on the phone every morning and there is no message. have looked in VM port assigment and all looks good and deleted and reinstated but fault still continues to happen.

has anyone incounted this before and fixed it?

This can happen if:
(1) the phone is a member of a hunt goup or has a key programmed on it that is a member of a hunt goup.
(2) there is a non-prime key programmed on it that has a vm box.

If this phone has lines programmed on it that are not actual phones some where - look there first.

it was the second option you stated..
