Hi
Have a 3300cxi with 5215 handsets. Have been asked by a user if it's possible to divert a call to voicemail from the handset while the call is active. So, a call comes in, the user sees the caller ID on the display and then decides they don't want to take the call. They press a button and the call diverts straight to voicemail.
Is this possible and if so, how do I configure this?
Thanks!

Manually forward the phone on an always condition to voice mail so that every call diverts without ring the phone.
Then remove the forwarding.
Now when the phone rings, a button will show on the dispaly that says "forward". Press it.

Hi Ralph
Thanks for the reply.
I tried this but I don't get a "Forward" message on the display when I call. Are you sure this should work on the 5215 handset (an older handset with an orange, two line LCD display)?
Thanks

No, I'm not sure. Unfortunantly I don't have one to try. I know that's the way it works on other models.
Anyone else know?

Try hitting the blue superkey twice while the call is ringing. I have 5220 and the forward option doesn't show up until I do that. I have no idea why, I found it on accident.

Hi I'm pretty sure that you have to have a model with the 3 softkeys under the screen to get the forward option on the display. As the 5215 dont have the softkeys then I dont think it is available

It seems like that's the case (i.e. that you can't do this on a 5215). I tried the double superkey trick but it looks like that doesn't work on this model.....
Thanks everyone for your replies!
