Hi All,
I have no experience with the Avaya IP Office and I can't find any documents on MOL for SIP trunking to Avaya IPO.
Is it possible to connect the 3300 to the Avaya IPO via SIP trunks? I have a proposal that I need to get together and there is an IPO involved that I can't replace.
Just need to know if is possible at this stage and if there any gotchas or limitations.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's possible.
Last month I was at the Avaya office in Denver specifically to test connectivity from our solution (3300) to the IPO and Aura systems.
3 days of testing.
The documentation is not ready yet (and I don't know if I could provide it to you) but the only thing that Avaya didn't like was that when you take an incoming IPO call and xfer it back out to the IPO it used 2 trunks. Avaya wanted it to release the trunks.
The only thing I can caution you on is that when I was there I was working with a very good Avaya engineer. I'd expect the tech you'd be interfacing wouldn't have that level of expertise.

Thanks Ralph,
Transferring shouldn't be an issue. As we will only need to transfer from the Mitel to the Avaya.
Yes I don't believe I will have an Avaya specialist to assist but will hopefully be able to get the 2 talking.

Any update on this, I have a similar requirement and I would like to know if you had much success before I start banging my head against a desk too hard?
Also any chance that documentation has come out? That seems like it could be useful in this.

Sorry I have not implemented this yet.
Although I am still interested in any docs as well.

Does anyone have any configuration notes for this?
I am linking to an IPO and the calls are going through however there is no audio.
I keep seeing chat responses that "yes it can be done" but I cannot find any posts on actually how to do this.
Any help would be appreciated.
