Title: IP Phone + on a 5k ver 6.0

Does the Mitel 5k require a Cat C license for the old IP Phone plus. I know you need to upgrade the firmware to 8.

License categories have not changed... if it required a C before, it still requires a C.

 It didn't require a license at all. Mitel's thought is anything that did not require a license previously now requires a cat "C" license, straight from the horses mouth.

As I said... licensing hasn't changed, whatever it needed (or didn't need) before is still what it needs.
