Title: Softphone setup issue

I am trying to setup a softphone and I have encountered some issues:

1) Internal calls work fine but when trying to call from softphone to outside I just receive short beeps. In addition when I am calling from my cell phone to the given extension, it exists but I never receive a call on my laptop.

2) MAS nupoint mailbox is setup but I cannot access it.

Assume you mean UCA softphone.

When you try to dial external are you adding the ARS leading digit ( usually 9 )?

when you say you can't acces the Nupoint is that by calling the hunt group or from within the softphone?

I am using leading digit and as far as Nupoint goes - i call internally from my deskphone and it just never goes to voice mail.

You ever try making an outside call without adding the leading digit?

When you call the Nupoint you see the port in the display i.e the Nupoint answered and you are just not getting audio?
