Title: mwi on mitel 5000 and nupoint

anyone know of issues between a mitel 5000 and nu point. from time to time the light doenst come on and later it will.. the nupoint is connected to one mitel 5000 and networked across a wan link to the one having issues. users are not complaining about any other vmail issues.

In my experience, Mitel 5000 and NuPoint don’t get along very well. There are issues with ports locking up and staying busy.

Treat them as incompatible, basically. Sorry if you inherited the system that way. I think the main reason for the incompatibility is that NuPoint is a Mitel product and the 5000 is really an Inter-Tel product.  Mitel Tech support may help but for me it's just a waste of time to mess with when they were never designed for each other to begin with.
