Title: Copying contents of MAC Directory to Excel
Post by: martynh on July 04, 2013, 05:46:56 AM
Hi All,

I was wondering if it's possible to copy the contents the MAC Directory list to an Excel speadsheet? I can't see anything obvious in Ops Manager to allow me to do this, is the Directory list kept in a log file somewhere on the nosting server?

Thanks in advance

I would think if it can be printed, it can be captured and put into Excel. I would likely use Procomm and just cut and paste screens if not too many entries

Log into SX2000 using procomm.
enter "fo Tel /po lpr3"
Now for the tricky part: in procomm, change your terminal setting from VT100 to TTY.  - your screen will blank.
Turn on capture.
Enter "en pr /n"
The telephone directory should print to your screen.
When it stops, stop the capture, change procomm back to VT100.
Next enter <CTL>+C
