I don't think there is a way to do this other than with a pair of snips
One of our sales pukes wants to be able to disable the speakerphones on certain desks.
Any ideas?

I'm finding that amusing.
Actually, I had to do that exact same thing back in the 2k days.
Had a customer with 100+ phones. They wanted the majority of the phones to be no speaker phones.
I had to cut the microphone wires in each of them.
(I'm trying to remember which phone model. 510 maybe?)

Well since the sales puke doesn't run the company you might went to tell him to p.o. Otherwise suggest he buy a bunch of 5312 sets that are not handsfree or buy new phones so you can void their warranty and can be tossed in the garbage if they ever go defective since Mitel will not repair them if you snip any wires internally. Its always some knob that doesn't have to pay that comes up with a stupid idea like this.

Unfortunately the sales puke is also one of the owners. I told him to open a DCR with Mitel if he wants the feature added.
They already have 5330's and 5340's in place in the cube farm.

Two chances they would ever implement the DCR. Slim and none.
