I have a 5000 with Basic (not enterprise) VM. Not nupoint.
This is the second time in about 45 days where an incorrect recording has replaced our standard company voice mail greeting.
While I can perform some basics in the Mitel Systems Admin console on our 5000, getting into swapping out the main greeting is something I observe so rarely that I just can't figure it out.
I've put in a call to Mitel (we have an agreement with them) but they're just not being responsive today.
I think this involves mailbox 190 or something like that.
Anyone know off the top of their heads where I need to look to try and figure this out?
Or maybe there's a link to a pdf?

Mitel to the rescue.
press the voicemail button
press *
enter mailbox 190
enter xxx#
as soon as she says the voicemail is XX% full,
press 9, this is a hidden unannounced option
press 3 for recording options
press 1 to make a new recording
enter recording 003
listen to the greeting in full, at the end press 3 to erase and re-record
press # to save changes
press # to save

All spelled out pretty clearly in the admin guide.

I seem to have about a hundred PDFs from Mitel that all seem to be an admin guide of one sort or another. Can you tell me the specific name of the admin guide that you are referring to? That way, I can delete the extraneous info (or move it elsewhere) and find these procedures a little more easily.
Thanks.

It's called the Endpoint and Voice Mail Administrator Guide for older releases and Unified Voice Messaging and Enterprise Messaging Administrator Guide for newer release, although the info is similar. A quick Google search should find what you need.
