I just logged in to our Mitel Controller via Internet Explorer to make an update. The system appeared to hang after I logged in, and now I am unable to log in at all.
What can I do to correct this issue? Attempting to log in to the controller via Putty using the same login credentials was unresponsive. Everything on the phone system appears to be working correctly.
Is this a common issue? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

No...
Do you think this can be a network issue?
I've seen similar issues on systems with a bad/corrupted hard drive.
The best thing you could do now is to call your VAR, just to be sure!

Did you try to restart the webserver?
With putty
Setting RAW and port 2002 with IP of the controller
Command:
ts WebServer >> Stops the web server
tr WebServer >> Starts the web server
i WebServer >> Checks the web server status

You may have to telnet into port 23 and set up a scheduled reboot.

What version of IE are you using? Anything above IE8 is not supported, IE9 will still get you get you in but some stuff won't work, IE10 will sometimes give the issue you are describing... If you are running the correct version, clear all caches and try again.
Also make sure all pop-up blockers are turned off, or at least for IP address of the 3300.
