Title: SIP Conference Issue
Post by: twalsh on May 23, 2013, 09:32:16 AM
Senario: Cluster Enviroment (Memphis) ISS Server Resilient to ISS Server (Chicago), ISS Server in (Chicago) resilient to ISS Server in (Memphis), SIP Trunks Terminate in a ISS Server in (Chicago) and a 3300 Gateway in Memphis. I also have approx 25 remote sites (8-25 phones per site) all phones have static IP address back to their Home Element (MPLS) total # of IP phones approx 475

Issue:
A User in Memphis makes a call to an outside party (via SIP trunk), user then wants to conference in another user on the network, when the conference is joined together the originator of the confernce can not be heard, but the 2 parties he joined together hear each other.
1. This happens apporx 1 out of 10 conferences
2. No Eryptions is enabled on any controller in the cluster
3. Conference calls to remote sites do not experience this issue 3-8 party conferences work fine
4. not specific to one user
5. SIP PEER Options enabled are:
A: Public Callling Party Number Passthrough
      B: Update Early Media
C: Avoid Signaling Hold to the Peer
      D:Force Sendinf SDP Init Invite
      E: Repeat SDP
      F: Dable reliable Provisioning

Thanks
