Hi Guys,
i need to setting a bathroom alarm into a hotel\motel configuration.
When a guest pull the emergency cord, should start a call to the Post Operator.
The "HOTLINE" feature allows me to do this.
There is the possibility to set a time (in second, i suppose) for a Hotline feature to make a call to the PO?
Or, do you recommend other solution?
Thank to all!

Your best bet would be to click the Help link when logged into your system and search for Hotline. There's a few ins and outs that are worth reading straight from the documentation. :)

No there is not. You go off hook it calls. Your button push is simulating the off hook so if you push the button it calls. No timers.

Thank you all for the answers. Obviously online help has been read several times, without finding any solution.

A workaround for Delayed Hotline function is to use the Intercept Handling. If a phone goes offhook and obviously there is no extension without a number. After expiry of the First Digit timer in the COS the caller will be intercepted and connected with the number setup.

We've used this a lot in hospital environments. If a patient knocks a phone off but doesn't dial anything then a call would be generated automatically to the nurses station for that floor as an alert to check on the patient.

Thank you!
Great idea! I try this solution!

Make sure you lock down the COR of the phone because with the intercept method the phone is functional. The benefit of a hotline is it goes to one place only.
