I have been asked to help setup an external phone for delivery drivers which will automatically call 2 numbers at the same time once the handset has been picked up, I believe that it is called a PBX hotline?
Does anyone have any experience of setting one of these up?

On which system?
Any Mitel can do this quite easily, but I don't think I understand your original question... Do you want to setup a phone to call two internal extensions that hangs outside the door?

Hi,
The phone is to be located external to our building at the entrance to a delivery yard, the drivers pull up lift the receiver and should be automaitcally put through to a delivery office(it's actually 2 offices located in different parts of the site) who then let them in.
It's on an sx2000.
My knowledge of phone systems is pretty poor, Im from IT support and have taken over from the role with only 9 days handover\training

On a 2k you'll need to set up a unique number that rings on both phones you want to ring down to.
Set up a regular analog line for the delivery drivers with a non-DID number.
Then go to the form "associated directory numbers"
Put the extension of the driver's phone, and then put the extension of the button you added to the 2 phones you want to ring.
