Dear Greater Mitel Intellect,
We are using the embedded voicemail on our MCD 5.0 controller.
Licenses -> License and Option Selection -> Licensed Options -> Messaging -> Embedded Voice Mail licenses = 9 locally allocated.
Voicemail -> VM Mailboxes -> Mailbox numbers = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9999.
When I try to add mailbox number 8, I get the message = "You cannot modify the Language Mailbox."
I did not change the 'Prompt Language' from w/n the mailbox.
Not sure why I'm getting this message. The other mailboxes were programmed w/ no problems.
Pls. advise.
Thanks.

Hi,
8 is the language toggle function in the default auto attendant.
If you don't need 2 languages for your auto attendant, try to uncheck "Enable Bilingual Option" in Voicemail - Systems Settings and VM Prompt Languages. After that, I think you need to reboot the 3300.
Next, I think you will be able to clear 8 from "Language toggle" (again in Voicemail - Systems Settings and VM Prompt Languages) option and be able to use this digit for something else.
I'm not sure of that! Please keep us in touch!

Hello,
Thank you for your reply. You are correct, it turned out to be the Voice Mail -> System Settings -> VM Prompt Languages -> Enable Bilingual option.
I set this parameter to 'false' and was able to add voicemail box 8 :)
I did not need to reboot the 3300, thankfully.
Thanks again.
