Asking here for completeness, Mitel DECT headset connected to a 5340 works fine (up to a point) can have conversations etc. Just that you can't answer or clear down a call using the hookswitch on the headset (it doesn't answer if you pick it out of the cradle either (if its in). You can answer and use it by pressing the prime line and the cancel key.
Tested for internal calls only at present.
Anybody have any idea?

Check the phone to be sure you don't have the "headset" feature activated.
Do a locate features on the extension from maintenance commands. If it's on, turn it off.

Ralph... 8) that'll be it I bet. feature is on (phone replaced a 5324 with headset feature and it hasn't been turned off before they disconnected it and I didn't check...)
I'll get them to turn it off tomorrow as I can't see any way of doing it remotely.

Add a headset button to the phone and ask the user to turn it off. Trip saved. 8)

added the button remotely, will get them to press it tomorrow... 8)
