Hello all!
I have a conference room with somewhat loud fluorescent lights. My 4025 (on an SX-200) in the room is picking up that noise, and is making the speakerphone work poorly. So, I would like some recommendations on average to above average speakerphones for use in the room. I don't care if it is digital or analog, but VOIP is out of the question for that particular room.
Thanks in advance,
A C

Look for a Polycom with directional mics.
Analog.

Hi, Mitel makes a "UFO" type looking conferencing unit. the UFO sits on the table and plugs into a plastic addon piece that attackes to the 4025 (possibly others)?
It uses some type of smart technology where whomever is speaking it concentrates on that persons voice. There are LED indicators that let people know who the UFO is listening to.
Hope that helps!

Confernce rooms are a headache. With their high open ceilings and partitioned walls. And then they blame it on the phone/system for the crappy sounds. Try polycomm as suggested before

Ditto on Polycom's - I like the wireless units.
