Title: Easiest way to force a Major Alarm

Trying to test out the Alarm notification via email on MCD 5.x platform for a Customer.

I tried creating a SIP Peer but to no avail would it put the system into Major alarm....It showed as a Major alarm under Alarm Details but for whatever reason didn't show in Major on the webpage itself.

Busy out any trunk and then set the alarm threshold.

This should set the threshold to send a critical.  For a major set the second nil to a 1 change all else to nil.
"Set thres trunk nil nil 1"
