Where do I go to change the on hold timer? Right now it's ringing back at 25 seconds and I thought I would change this under COS options and Call Hold Timer but it's set to 120 and either not working properly or is the wrong place.
Thanks,
-
It's done in COS.
Check the COS of the phone and also the trunk the call comes in on.

Think Ralph is barking up the right tree, pretty sure the Call Hold timer is based on the source of the call, not the device that puts the call on hold, so look at the COS of the trunks that the call is coming in on and change the timer there.

I could never understand why the 3300 was developed like this. It is an issue for most techs when they are starting out.
Same goes for no answer timers etc... This is a bit of an inflexibility if you ask me.

In the class of service of the trunks I usually set these two prompts to yes
Use Held Party Device for Call Re-routing
Use Called Party Call Hold Timer
The Mitel has always used the originating device for hold and rerouting. It used to be really bad in the SX2K days where it was a system timer when you did system level rerouting.

Thanks for the help.
I changed it in one location but not under the Local Lines COS once I did this everything was fine.
