Has any one else experienced any issues with Dell switches and the E series phones not booting?

We use Dell switches in-house and haven't had any issues.

I'm having grief where when we plug a 5330E phone into a Dell switch it will not boot. Older 5330 phones work.
If we plug the 5330E phone into a Cisco switch in the same network is will boot.
Once the phone is booted on the Cisco then it will boot on the Dell.
Obviously a firmware thing with the phone but I can't figure out how to set up the Dell to make it work properly.

Update:
One Mitel engineer said that he's run across it one other time on a Dell Power Connect switch.
The solution was to hard code the switch port to 1000 Meg Full Duplex.
I'll have a tech try that.
Remember, if this is the solution then you have to hard code the phone too.

Maybe that's our difference then. Our PoE Dell isn't 10/100/1000, and our 10/100/1000 isn't PoE.

We have had some issues with lower-end 10/100/1000 managed switches on occasion with gigabit Polycom phones, disabling LLDP system-wide often fixes the issue. Not sure if this would be the same thing or not, but worth a shot since I really hate hard coding switch ports.

The only issue that I've come across with Dell switches, is that they are pretty ordinary to configure, and making changes, especially to trunk ports, whilst the switch is in production is a matter of crossing your fingers and hoping that the trunk does not go down and then back up again when you apply the changes!
My guess would have been speed negotiation, but by the looks of it you have already had that confirmed! :)
