Hi All.
Bit of a bizzare one here,
I have a 5000 with 4 file based music on hold licenses, which work spot on. but the input on the back of the 5000 doesn't, I've tested this with headphones in to the ipod (that plays the music) and all is well, but I can't get the music to appear when on hold.
I've set the group to use 5000 cp for moh and the trunks to use whatever is on the next device?
Any ideas?

If you plug in the music source and turn on Background Music on a phone, does the music play out the phones speaker? If not, then the system isn't getting it for some reason, if it plays then it's a programming issue.

Goldwave is great for working with 8K files. It also can read vox vm files.

I probably should post that this was a very complex issue and took hours to resolve.
it did take hours to resolve.
mostly due to layer 8 issues :)
if you plug headphones in an ipod to test, then take headphones out to plug the ipod into the system the music pauses.
most definately an id10t error.
Sorry fellas!

Haven't heard that one before. Nice.

Personally I usually find layer 9 issues to be the main ones I run into :)
