Title: Traffic reports questions
Post by: marcolive on March 10, 2013, 12:08:02 PM
Hi all,

We would like to monitor the maximum use of B channels for the customer PRI. So, we enabled Mitel 3300 traffic reports.

According to my analysis, (maybe I'm wrong) Mitel traffic reports *only* show outgoing traffic for a trunk group. Is anyone able to confirm that?

If I want to report TOTAL (in & out) maximum use of B channels for a trunk group, how would I do that?

The goal is to say "Hey Mr. Customer, between 10:00 and 11:30 on weekdays, your PRI is used at 90% on average, please add another one!".

I know that Prairiefyre software (Call Accounting or Contact Center) is able to report that, but to my knowledge, it uses Mitel traffic reports.

Please help me on that! :)

Thanks!

Traffic reports will show both in and out via peg counts and erlangs.
I believe this is set up by default.  You don't have a choice to turn off inbound vs outbound.
I'm not where I can log into a system and give you the exact settings but it should be in form "traffic"
