Title: Maximum number of active message waiting lamps
Post by: ralph on February 14, 2013, 04:14:07 PM
There's an issue I'm dealing with regarding msg wtg lamps not coming on.  In the back of my mind I seem to remember (this might go back to the 2k days) where there was a maximum number of active msg wtg lamps.    Maybe the maximum I'm thinking of is for call back messages per system.

Does this tickle anyone's memory?

Not since the days of the SX-50, when you could only have 29 message waiting lamps lit at one time for ONS extensions. I am not aware of a limit on message waiting limits on IP/Digital phones on the 3300, and searching the engineering docs comes up with nothing, although in the THB I did find a reference to SUPERSET Callback Messages per System Maximum 500.

SUPERSET Callback Messages per System Maximum 500. (http://SUPERSET Callback Messages per System Maximum 500.)

That's what I was thinking about.

Thanks, Ace.

still think there is a limit on simultaneous MWI lights on a system when applied to ONS ports.
